What is PRINCE2®?

PRINCE2® is a standard developed by the English government. It’s based on the following principles:
A business case
An effective governance structure
A flexible methodology that can be adapted to all project types
Milestone-based project management
An approach based on a work package for each product
PRINCE2 training is suitable if you are a project or team leader in a project. Consultants, project office staff, executives and aspiring project managers will all find the course beneficial as well. If you are looking to boost your CV and demonstrate project management skills quickly, then PRINCE2 is your best option.
PRINCE2 has two levels, 1- Foundation (Learning the method itself), 2- Practitioner (Application of the method to scenarios)
Virtual classroom training allows you to benefit from real-time instruction from the comfort of your home or office. You benefit from the same interactions as an on-site class and will be able to ask questions of the instructor. Since the exams are not done on paper during the course but online, you will also benefit from time to study and prepare until you are ready to obtain the certification.
What are the course prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites. Knowledge of project management is beneficial. You must complete approximately 10 hours of study prior to class. We will provide you with all the reading material you need so that you are well prepared before coming to virtual class.
What are the exam(s)?
PRINCE2 Foundation
The exam is designed to test your knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2.
• Length: 60
minutes
• Pass Mark : 33 (on 60 questions) - 55 %
• Closed book.
PRINCE2 Practitioner
Prerequisite: - Passing the Foundation Exam
The Practitioner exam assesses whether the candidate is able to apply the concepts learned during the training
• Length : 2
hours and a half
• Pass Mark : 38 (on 68 questions) - 55 %
• Open book.
As of January 2023, PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certificates expire after 3 years and exams must be retaken to keep certificates active. It is also possible to accumulate 20 continuous development points in the AXELOS membership in order to maintain an active PRINCE2 certification status.

A personal computer is recommended to avoid any technical problems. If you are using a computer from your employer, make sure you have access rights or computer support at the time of the exam. For the online proctored exam, an interface must be installed. Administrative rights are therefore essential.
Exams can be taken on a recent MAC or PC with Windows. A working webcam and microphone (internal or external) are required.
The online exam is not available on a tablet (Ipad) or cell phone at this time.
