Essentials for PMO Administrators Training and Certification is designed for beginners, to provide an introduction to Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M), within the context of a Project Management Office. This course delves in the four key roles within a PMO and reveals what it takes to be successful in a support role.

What are the course prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites to take the Essentials for PMO Administrators course. Experience in project, or program management is beneficial.
Exam PMO Administrators
• Length: 45
minutes
• Pass mark : 30 (on 60 questions) - 50 %
• Closed book.
Essentials for PMO Analysts
Essentials for PMO Analysts Training and Certification is aimed at current PMO Analysts and those moving from project management into a PMO role. Candidates should have foundation level knowledge of project, programme or portfolio management.
The course is 4 days
What are the course prerequisites?
You need foundational level knowledge of projects, programmes or portfolios – any formally recognised Project Management certification at Foundation level or above will be accepted. For example:
- Essentials for PMO Administrator Certification.
- A Foundation Certificate in AgilePM®, APM PFQ, CAPM, MSP, PgMP®, PM4SD™, PMQ, PMP®, Praxis Framework™ or PRINCE2®.
- Any other Project Management certificate at a Foundation level (including internal or non-certified courses).
Exam PMO Analysts
• Length: 90
minutes
• Pass mark : 38 (on 75 questions) - 50 %
• Closed book.
Essentials for PMO Managers
Essentials for PMO Managers is a comprehensive course, which will explain what knowledge, skills, behaviours and competences a good PMO Manager has.
The course is 2 days
What are the course prerequisites?
You need practitioner level knowledge of projects, programmes or portfolios – any formally recognised Project Management certification or the appropriate level of practical experience will be accepted. For example, any of the following are applicable:
- Essentials for PMO Analysts Certification.
- A Practitioner certificate in either P3O®, PRINCE2®, Praxis Framework™, AgilePM®, MSP®, PRINCE2 Agile, APM PFQ, PMQ, PM4SD™, PMP®, PgMP®, or CAPM or equivalent.
- 3 years experience of working within a PMO, project, programme or portfolio environment.
Exam PMO Managers
• Length: 75
minutes
• Pass mark : 30 (on 60 questions) - 50 %
• Closed book.
Essentials for PMO Directors
Essentials for PMO Directors is a course which will provide you with the fundamental knowledge and skills you need to be an effective PMO Director. It is designed especially for those who are new to this role or aspire to be a PMO Director – to explain what is expected of you and provide you with simple tools to use in your day-to-day role.
The course is 2 days
What are the course prerequisites?
You need practitioner level knowledge of projects, programmes or portfolios – any formally recognised Project Management certification or the appropriate level of practical experience will be accepted. For example, any of the following are applicable:
- Essentials for PMO Managers Certification.
- A Practitioner certificate in either P3O®, PRINCE2®, PRAXIS Framework™, AgilePM®, MSP®, MoP, PRINCE2 Agile, APM PFQ, PMQ, PM4SD™, PMP®, PgMP®, or CAPM or equivalent.
- 3 years experience of working within a PMO, project, programme or portfolio environment.
Exam PMO Directors
• Length: 60
minutes
• Pass mark : 25 (on 50 questions) - 50 %
• Closed book.

· House of PMO exam online 24/7 (webcam required)
· Accredited course material including sample exam questions
· Certificate(s) and PDUs for PMPs
A personal computer is recommended to avoid any technical issues. If you are using an office device, make sure you have access rights or IT computer support at the time of the exam. For the online proctored exam, an interface must be installed. Administrative rights are therefore essential.
Exams can be taken on a recent MAC or PC with Windows. A working webcam and microphone (internal or external) are required.
The online exam is not available on a tablet (Ipad) or cell phone at this time.
